Waves and surges that cross in an energetic composition. The depth of the scene is underlined by the contrast of sizes and by the colour, which underlines the different planes in depth. Between the blue tones of the water (with a prevalence of Prussian blue, the colour itself spread in Japan starting from 1820 imported from the Netherlands) and the white ones of the foam.
